CES 2022: AI-Packed Honda Concept Is Ready for Autonomous Ride Shares
Honda gave CES 2022 attendees a look at a new autonomous vehicle concept packed with bogus intelligence (AI).
By far, it is one of the products from the automotive industry that many wait forrard to fiddle with.
The Honda NeuV, or New Electric Urban Vehicle, is a two-seater that looks kind of like a Mini with doors that shift up 90 degrees. Given that private vehicles today sit down idle 96% of the time, Honda thinks the NeuV could "function autonomously as a ride-sharing vehicle" and earn you some actress cash, said Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, President of Global Enquiry and Development. The concept machine could too sell energy back to the electrical filigree during times of high demand when it's not in utilize.
As is, the Honda NeuV also has a bunch of cool artificial intelligence (AI) features: it can find the emotions backside your driving choices, and so make new recommendations based on your past decisions. It can too check on how y'all're feeling; if information technology senses that you're blue it may suggest upbeat music.
"Our goal is to create something new that advances mobility and makes people's lives better," Frank Paluch, President of Honda R&D Americas, said on stage hither.
The machine-maker also showed off a cocky-balancing motorbike. Matsumoto said the company created the motorcycle to "give people joy of riding, while profoundly reducing the possibility of falling over" while it's at rest.
